A closer look
Start with the fiber. Review the whole formulation.
A bamboo-fiber composite is not the same product as a straw cut from a bamboo stem. Its performance, classification and food-contact assessment depend on how it is made. The sample, specification sheet and product description should identify the same material route so that your purchasing and marketing teams are working from consistent information.
For EU-bound projects, composition needs particular attention. The European Commission has identified plastic food-contact articles containing unauthorized bamboo and other plant-based additives as an enforcement concern. A plant-based label is not a route around those restrictions. Have the importer review the precise formulation and its authorization basis before placing an order.

Is bamboo fiber the same as a natural bamboo straw?
No. A natural bamboo stem and a product made using processed bamboo fiber can differ in structure and composition. Request an explicit description of the selected product; photographs of bamboo plants or stems do not prove a composite’s formulation.
What are the sample and shipping terms?
Samples are free. Buyers pay courier / shipping costs. Sample selection and freight are confirmed before dispatch.
Is a compostability certificate included?
Certification availability and scope must be confirmed for the specific product. This page does not claim a certification, a universal degradation time or suitability for every disposal route.
