PBS
straws.
A PBS material option for a specification-led sourcing project. We manufacture PBS straws and align the selected product with your dimensions, packaging and application requirements.

Straw form reference, not a verified PBS sample. Confirm material, grade and appearance before ordering.
A closer look
A material option that starts with your requirements.
PBS stands for polybutylene succinate. The initials identify a polymer family; they do not disclose the sourcing of every component or the properties of a particular blend. Ask for the selected grade, formulation details and supporting evidence. Bio-based content should be specified rather than inferred from a biodegradable-material description.
State the performance you need in observable terms: how the straw fits the lid, how the edge feels, how it behaves during the expected service time and what packaging format your team handles. Compare samples against the same agreed criteria. A quoted material name without those conditions leaves room for mismatched expectations.

Is every PBS straw entirely plant-based?
Do not assume that. Ask for the bio-based content and the sourcing information for the selected formulation. The product description should distinguish feedstock origin from biodegradation behavior.
What are the sample and shipping terms?
Samples are free. Buyers pay courier / shipping costs. Sample selection and freight are confirmed before dispatch.
Is a compostability certificate included?
Certification availability and scope must be confirmed for the specific product. This page does not claim a certification, a universal degradation time or suitability for every disposal route.
